2. EFT tapping tip: The movie technique
There are quite a few new people subscribed to this newsletter so many of you may not know this very effective EFT technique. It is called the movie technique and it can be used to clear anything from a major trauma to just an unpleasant event from any time in your past (there are some events that are too painful to do with the movie technique or are too much to do on your own. In that case you should work with a practitioner). To do this technique think of the event and ask yourself these questions. 1. If this event was a movie how long would it be? Keep it short. If it is hours long break it up into pieces and treat them like separate movies 2. What would the name of the movie be? Tap several rounds using the set up phrase "Even though I have this (name of your movie) movie I deeply and completely love and accept myself." After doing several rounds note if your intensity about the movie is lower. Once the intensity is very low close your eyes and run through the movie in your mind and notice if there is any intensity left- even exaggerate the sights and sounds and try to get yourself upset about it again. If there is something about it that still bothers you tap on that part until the intensity is a 0. Once you can run the movie in your mind without it bothering you in any way you are done and that trauma is cleared and you will not have that upsetting you any more! This can be very powerful as we often carry negative beliefs about our self and the world from specific traumas of the past. This process can take some time so be persistent and gentile with yourself.
3. EFT success story: That "doom and gloom" feeling
"First, thank you so much! Many thanks for your help and dedication to the profession!
It is amazing how well I feel. I won't question it as I was very open and receptive to healing and dumping this "stuff"! So together we made quite a team [using EFT].
I definitely got my groove back and the shroud of doom and gloom are gone. [Even after 2 weeks] I still feel great...no short term high! No highs or lows..I am back to my bubbly self!
I am exited about working on my website and building the business-even came up with some creative thoughts on advertising! And, my cold is disappearing too!
I will most definitely refer anyone I can to you.
Again many, many thanks"
